Even though the weather can't seem to decide what it's going to do, spring is upon us.  That means it's time to tune up the mower, rake the lawn, drag out the hoses, plant flowers and get into the "spring routine".  Don't forget to include your body in your spring preparation.

Spring is a perfect time to start an outdoor exercise program such as walking, bicycling or jogging.  The point is to get outside and get moving.  Dust off those walking shoes when you're dusting off the lawn chairs and get out and enjoy some fresh air.

After months of indoor activity or in many cases....no activity at all, your body needs a tune up too so it will be ready for the demands the outdoor seasons place upon you.  If you haven't been in for an adjustment in awhile, spring is also a great time for a Chiropractic check up as well.  All of those indoor months and inactivity take their toll on your joints and muscles.  Being inactive can be just as damaging to your spine as a physical injury.  Before you head outside this spring, make an appointment for an adjustment so your body is ready for the increased physical demands of the outdoors.  Making sure your spine is in line before spring activity can also help prevent injuries from happening as easily.
